While it's cool to add performance parts to your vehicle or try to drag race the local $1500 Honda Civic, these activities do not truly put your skills to the test and prove your automotive knowledge.

However, Henry Denton, the founder of 3Denton Auto, has taken his automotive skills to the next level. Henry started honing his skills as a teenager in the local automotive shop, Sug's Super Service, in Vandalia, IL. He then used these skills to serve our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he was in the motor pool, working alongside other members of the US Military in Vietnam.

When he returned from his deployment, Henry didn't just stop there. He went on to become a multi-time stock car racing champion, designing award-winning race cars through building, tuning, trial, and error. Henry's vast background in the automotive industry has spanned his entire life, and he has always had a passion for anything auto-related since a young age, which clearly shows in his work.

Now in his 70s, Henry still taps into his over 50 years of automotive experience to make decisions, repairs, and architect solutions for both current and older vehicles. He has put so many sides, experiences, and in-depth personal touches on the automotive industry over the years, and we're dedicated to using this blog to help describe those experiences, as well as how we have collaborated as a family to build a modernized method of how we can bring his experiences and skills to the masses.
